Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Finance Change & Integration team to support Regulatory Reporting . This role supports critical regulatory initiatives that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our finance function. The person in the role gain s hands-on experience working on finance regulatory transformation projects, system implementations, and the integration of new business lines or entities. This is an excellent entry point for a candidate interested in both finance and project delivery within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support finance transformation initiatives, such as general ledger upgrades, regulatory reporting enhancements (e.g., FR Y-9C, 2052a , FRY-15 ), or legal entity integrations

Assist with documentation of business requirements

Support testing activities to ensure accurate financial data post-change

Participate in project meetings, document minutes, track tasks, and follow up with stakeholders

Assist in mapping financial data from legacy systems to target systems, ensuring alignment with accounting and regulatory standards

Support process improvements across month-end close, reporting cycles, and controls

Prepare draft materials process documentation, operational readiness

Liaise with Regulatory Reporting stakeholders as well as other Finance areas , Business, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure data and reporting systems align with stakeholder requirements

Monitor change impacts and help track and escalate issues

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters degrees a plus)

Foundational knowledge of accounting, financial statements /general ledger concepts, and banking products (loans, deposits, trading instruments)

Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint and data visualization tools (P ower BI a plus ) or SQL knowledge

Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working with large data sets and performing reconciliations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Execution oriented in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or academic project experience within a bank, financial institution, or Big 4 firm

Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Basel, CCAR, FR Y-9C, 2052a)

Familiarity with banking systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or regulatory tools ( Axiom is a plus )

Interest in finance transformation, financial data governance, and system integration work

The expected base salary ranges from $120,000 - $185,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
