JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the
Qualitiy Assurance Nurse (ADON)
position is to assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing and supervising the day-to-day activities of the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. The responsibility to assure that consistent quality care is given to our residents.
Quality Assurance Nurse (ADON), position is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out the assigned duties.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES INCLUDE :
Infection control, antibiotic stewardship and other QA activities Conducting staff in-services Staff training and development through education, mentoring and guided by best practices Maintaining vaccination records and audits for staff and residents NHSN Reporting Participate in the on-call rotation with additional compensation Other duties as assigned Candidate must have at least for 1 year experience working in long term care facilities. Candidate must have strong communication skills necessary for teaching adults. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
You must have a current license in good standing with the State of Texas (or other compact state), pass a criminal background check, exhibit excellent hospitality skills have computer skills and be detail oriented. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
