Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the Grinding machine and supplying good, quality product with the ability to meet deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities will include: assistance with creating SOP and other production related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.

Operate the Grinding machine which includes operation of the Bagger, Grinders & Dust Collector with minimal supervision:
Conduct a visual inspection and perform general preventive maintenance of the Grinding area, tools and equipment Login to computer and review order Power on Bagger, Grinders & Dust Collector Bagger operation: Ensure proper supply of empty bags Place label on bags identifying batch # and color to be run Wait for material to come from Grinder Place empty bag on bagger and allow machine to fill bags to 55 lbs. Replace bagger with new, empty bag and repeat process Grinder operation: Place 1st bin on belt for Grinder Operate lever to fill Grinder with material from bins Check for contamination via the Shakers Fit empty palletizer with skids Move full skids to warehouse Enter production data into computer at close of shift Once all grinding material is bagged for the shift, conduct extensive cleaning to the Grinding Machine and associated equipment E

Maintain clean work environment by using air hose on all machine areas at every color change to avoid contamination; ensure tools & equipment are kept in an orderly fashion and stored where required for easy access; maintain equipment by reporting any maintenance issues immediately to supervisor and maintenance department

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of machine operator/manufacturing experience required English fluency (read, write, speak); ability to communicate well (verbal/written) Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands 6 months fork truck experience required Previous manufacturing experience preferred Read and understand units of measure Ability to perform basic math functions Demonstrated comfort with data entry and basic computer skills; ERP experience preferred Must be safety conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements Able to safely perform related physical requirements/demands of the role Ability to wear mask/goggles and hearing protections when performing job Ability to work from heights Work Environment:

The position is required to wear PPE including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel toe/composite boots and earplugs. Physical and Mental Demands:
