Optum is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Technician - Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. We are seeking someone passionate about patient care to help make a difference in the lives of our patients.

2800 Marcus Ave, New Hyde Park, NY 11042 Hours:
37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:00pm Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional patient care as part of a collaborative clinical team. Prepare treatment rooms and medical equipment efficiently before and after procedures. Ensure equipment functionality by conducting thorough safety checks. Maintain stringent disinfection protocols for all medical equipment. Handle and transport specimens collected during procedures accurately. Assist with patient intake and documentation of physician observations. Monitor patients by placing vital signs devices and collecting data. Facilitate training sessions to share knowledge about equipment and instruments. Engage actively in in-service trainings to refresh your professional skills. Support pre and post-visit planning for improved patient experiences. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of direct patient interaction experience. Experience working in a medical office for at least 1 year. Proficient in using medical equipment for at least 1 year. Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of medical terminology is a plus. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred. Key Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Highly detail-oriented and organized.
