As a Manager, Planning, you will:
Provide guidance and oversight to Schedulers in the development and execution of integrated production and master schedules, as well as other schedules for multiple Department of Defense ship repair projects Develop and maintain integrated production and master schedules, and oversee the development and maintenance of schedules in support of Program and Project Managers Lead and mentor team members to improve scheduling and resource forecasting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources to meet business goals Identify and mitigate risks, and recommend contingency plans Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve scheduling and resource forecasting Provide support to new business development and financial planning Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. Engineering, Business, Management) and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Experience in Scheduling/Planning Experience in Performance Management (KPIs, Metrics, etc.) Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting to support stakeholder decision-making Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) Knowledge of Planning/Scheduling principles (Integrated Master Plans (IMS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Critical Path, etc.) Knowledge of Program/Project Management methodologies (Gantt, PERT, etc.) Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in US Navy Ship Repair, Shipbuilding, or Maritime industry Experience in Deltek Open Plan software or similar scheduling tools Experience in Deltek Cobra Software or similar Earned Value Management tools
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
