Insight Global is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Civil Engineer to support pre-construction efforts for large-scale industrial developments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage project planning and is comfortable navigating complex entitlement and permitting processes especially in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They will develop and review conceptual site layouts to determine optimal building size and placement. The ideal candidate will experience in stormwater management and site design for facilities. They must understand how to differentiate and effectively manage water from rooftops, which typically produces clean runoff, and from impervious surfaces such as asphalt, which generates dirty runoff. This role requires a strong grasp of environmental compliance and drainage infrastructure. Additionally, the candidate should have hands-on experience with large scale ground up construction projects. He or she must understand and apply local zoning laws, commercial codes, and environmental regulations, which vary by state and assist in preparing drawings through various stages. This person must sit onsite 5 days a week, hours are flexible. Salary will range from $125,000-$145,000 depending on experience.

Experience with Autodesk Revit 3-5 years of prior experience with leading and supporting entitlement and approval processes, ensuring compliance with state-specific commercial codes and zoning laws in New Jersey and/or Philadelphia Contribute to Windows lab upgrades and security enhancements (if applicable to project scope Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timelines and permitting milestones are met. Demonstrated experience in stormwater management and site design for facilities with mixed runoff sources. Ability to differentiate and manage clean water runoff from rooftops and contaminated runoff from impervious surfaces such as asphalt. Must have Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering
