Our mission is to strengthen communities through education by equipping public high schools or rural municipalities in Nepal with innovative teaching methodologies and modern technology. Our vision is to provide Nepali students and communities with knowledge, skills, and opportunities to prosper so that they remain and evolve in Nepal. We have impacted over 1200 students to date, across 10 CLECS (Collaborative Learning Environment Centers). We rely on the generosity of donors and the dedication of volunteers to support our mission. Position Overview: Are you a passionate and motivated individual ready to take the next step in your nonprofit career? We're seeking a Development & Fundraising Team Lead to play a pivotal role in expanding our fundraising efforts and increasing awareness for Digital Bridges 4 Nepal. This is an incredible opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to grow into a leadership position, gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, and strategic planning. As our Development & Fundraising Team Lead, you'll guide our fundraising initiatives, help research and secure grants, coordinate impactful campaigns, and build strong relationships with our supporters. You'll also play a key role in global coordination, taking turns collaborating with our Administrative Lead and Nepal Programs Team Lead to ensure our efforts are cohesive and effective worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Management Lead Fundraising Initiatives: Help lead and organize fundraising projects, tasks, and outcomes for the team. Team Coordination: Facilitate effective teamwork by coordinating schedules, meetings, and project workflows within the fundraising team in the US and Nepal. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Administrative Lead and Nepal Team Lead to ensure seamless integration of fundraising efforts with overall organizational goals and global initiatives. Board Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact for DB4Ns Board of Directors on fundraising matters. Research & Identify Opportunities: Proactively research and identify potential funding avenues, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and major individual donors. Proposal Development: Assist in writing compelling grant proposals, sponsorship letters, and donor communications to secure vital funding. Donor Engagement: Support strategies for engaging and stewarding donors, including personalized outreach, thank you efforts, and follow-ups. Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and events. Content Creation & Digital Presence: Collaborate with the DB4N team to develop engaging promotional content for fundraising initiatives on LinkedIn and across various platforms by creating and scheduling fundraising and storytelling related content for social media, newsletters, and email campaigns to broaden reach and engagement.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in a management or entrepreneurial environment. A nonprofit development or fundraising background is a plus and readiness to step into a leadership-track role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and research skills with attention to detail. Passion for community development, education, and nonprofit fundraising. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with social media and email marketing is a plus. Prior experience in entrepreneurial or project management positions is desirable. Degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Business, International Development, or related field.
