Project Controls Specialist III

to join our team. This position will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of project budgets, forecasts, and cost control processes on large capital projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in project lifecycle management, and the ability to provide financial insights that drive project success. Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Collaborate with Project and Construction Managers on project establishment, funding, and re-baselining efforts. Conduct variance analysis and participate in Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews. Allocate and manage Estimates to Complete (ETCs), including change orders, task requests, and vendor portal submissions. Support change management and risk assessment processes with cost and trend analyses. Perform monthly reconciliations of budgets and costs to ensure accurate reporting. Track and evaluate project cost trends, providing early warnings on potential overruns or risks. Partner with scheduling teams to analyze the impact of schedule performance and cash flow on project costs. Review contractor and consultant invoices and payment applications for compliance. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and tailored analyses for stakeholders. Administer budget transfers, amendments, requisitions, and other cost-related documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Minimum Qualifications

510 years of professional experience in program and/or project controls within construction. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (additional experience may substitute for education). Hands-on experience managing all phases of the project lifecycle. Knowledge of cost/schedule management, forecasting, earned value management, and risk assessment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with tools such as Proliance, Deltek Costpoint, or other cost management systems. Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
