ProSidian Consulting is looking for a AMRP Consultant Support Regulatory Decision Document Support Specialist (Part-Time) located in the Hanford Tri-Cities area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support. It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft. AMRP Cons Spt Reg Dec Doc Candidates shall work to support requirements as a AMRP Consultant Support Regulatory Decision Document Support Specialist and provide Regulatory Decision Document Support services to The Department of Energy Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL), Assistant Manager for River and Plateau (AMRP) The decision documents being prepared follow regulatory guidelines defined in the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the State of Washington's Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), and the State of Washington's Dangerous Waste Regulations. Activities include evaluations and planning for remediation of pipelines, burial grounds, and waste sites. The AMRP Consultant Support Regulatory Decision Document Support Specialist shall provide AMRP support in the following areas: Assist with project baseline planning with focus on pipeline closure elements to include mapping databases, creating queries and reports, analyzing data, and preparing baseline estimates. Assist with strategic planning, and review of planning and evaluation documents including Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) work plans, Data Quality Objectives, and Sample and Analysis Plans (SAPs). Assist contractors or conduct independent evaluations of existing data to assist in the scoping and development of work plans and SAPs Assist with development of Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) documents working with the RL technical staff and contractors Assist with maintaining policies and procedures related to baseline management. Assist in development of CERCLA documentation. Assist AMRP with strategic planning documents and evaluations. Assist AMRP with assessments for pipelines, burial grounds, and waste sites. Assist AMRP with preparing baseline estimates for Central Plateau actions. Assist with identifying WIDs updates. Work independently and perform multiple tasks. Communicate and interact successfully with others at all organizational levels, both internally and externally. The AMRP Consultant Support Regulatory Decision Document Support Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The AMRP Consultant Support Regulatory Decision Document Support Specialist shall possess the following minimum qualifications: 6 years of experience in relevant field. Graduate degree in relevant technical field. Proficiency in the use of computer applications, with an emphasis in Microsoft Access, Excel, ACR/GIS, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Federal and agency regulations including CERCLA, RCRA, MTCA, and the State Dangerous Waste Regulations. Knowledge of DOE programs and missions, preferred. Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, and policies regarding program/operations. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques. Knowledge of Government facilities, functions, waste streams, and work practices. U.S. citizenship. TRAINING
HAZWOPER Training will be required. Other training courses, if coordinated with the Technical Point of Contact and approved in advance by the Contracting Officer, are allowed on an as-needed basis. TRAVEL
