If you are ready to make a profound difference while operating in a supportive environment that truly inspires, then this opportunity is tailor-made for you. As part of your role, you will be evaluating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to individual recovery needs. You will administer impactful physical therapy interventions that focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Education is also an essential component, guiding patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and essential home exercises. Your responsibilities will also include meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress according to facility and regulatory standards. You will actively participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences, ensuring that every aspect of patient care is well-coordinated and effective. To qualify, you must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. A state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is necessary, as well as CPR certification, which is preferred. Relevant experience is highly favored, and you should be adept at treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and a spirit of teamwork will serve you well in this role. Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation systems will enhance your efficiency. In terms of benefits, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills and dedication, alongside a comprehensive suite of benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. We prioritize your growth, providing support for continuing education and licensure reimbursement, along with generous paid time off and flexible scheduling. Work within an encouraging team culture that values professional advancement. What does a typical day look like in this rewarding position?
