Product Engineer
As a Product Engineer in the Engineered Specials department of Emerson's Flow Controls business unit, you will be part of a team dedicated to designing specialized products for our customers' most critical applications. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of activities, from concept development, designing, testing, and implementing custom valve solutions into production around the world! In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Complete customer orders involving product design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction Provide technical support for assigned products to manufacturing, sales, service, and customers Maintain and update assigned products through Engineering Change Requests and design projects. Perform and document design calculations and analysis Build 3D CAD models and assemblies Create additional design documentation such as part numbers, test specifications, instruction manuals, design practices and procedures, etc. Recommend and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement Who You Are: You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You partner with others to get work done. You learn quickly when facing new situations. You drill down to root causes to gather relevant information. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. Excellent communication skills. Understanding of engineering principles and demonstrated experience in their application Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Two years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or other proven experience. Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances and GD&T Programming experience.
