Part-time Student Assistant - Student Ambassador

responsible for representing and promoting SCC to prospective students, parents, and community members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct campus tours for prospective students and families. Meet and greet prospective students, parents, and community members. Share information about campus facilities, academic programs, and student life. Assist with new student orientations to help acclimate new students. Represent the college at recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visits. Participate in student panels to provide perspectives on academics, campus culture, and services. Promote college events and achievements via social media. Contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive campus environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Active enrollment at SCC with at least 12 credits enrolled or 15 credits earned. Minimum GPA of 3.0, preferred 3.2 or higher. Two recommendation letters (one from faculty and another from faculty or staff). No conduct issues within SCC; off-campus issues may affect eligibility.
