Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled

Automation Tester

to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios for automation. Responsibilities of the role include the following:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications. Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify bugs and performance issues. Contribute to the development and improvement of continuous integration and testing pipelines. Report, track, and verify defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data. Participate in code reviews and contribute to test framework improvements. Ensure that automation testing follows industry best practices and internal standards. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (2+ years) in test automation. Proficiency in automation tools such as

Selenium ,

Cypress ,

Appium ,

TestNG , or similar. Strong programming skills in

Java ,

Python ,

JavaScript , or similar languages. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured. Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow). Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. ISTQB or other relevant QA certification.
