Job Summary This position requires the ability to provide expert and creative solutions to user problems to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity. Research, resolve, and respond to complex questions received via telephone calls, customer generated tickets or emails, and provide support on electronic services, in accordance with current standards. The position provides support for software as described in triage documentation and has proficient knowledge of Windows10, and Office 365. The position requires close coordination with all IT infrastructure and support teams. Customer Service Skills Possesses a broad understanding of customer needs and of how to meet those needs. Demonstrates a sense of urgency in addressing issues affecting their customer and takes ownership of the issues affecting them. Technical: Has an ability to translate that knowledge into benefits for the customer. Maintains a solid strategy for efficient problem diagnosis. Ability to focus on the real issues involved. Ability to interface with a wide variety of clients. Handle large volumes of imaging requests. Potential for heavy lifting. Exercises independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments. May receive instructions and guidance on unusual or complex problems and knows when to get others involved. Effectively utilizes the proper resources to develop solutions and devise new approaches to problems encountered in work assignments. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize IT software programs. Must have strong customer service and problem-solving skills; coursework or experience in PC hardware functionality, desktop imaging, network monitoring tools, Microsoft Office project support preferred. Proficient knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11, and Office 365. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have good verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently and as a team. Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation. Education Requirements Must be currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students should have an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or later. Other Information We offer excellent plans and programs for employees.
