Our client is a leading, fast-growing manufacturer of specialty metal products that supply a variety of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and Agricultural. They have a very impressive production campus here in IL, with a range of production capabilities allowing them to vertically integrate. Because of impressive growth in some of their most profitable business segments, they are seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join the team, and be future leaders at the company.

Job Description

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes Collaborate with design teams to improve product manufacturability Play key role in capital expenditure projects Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement Provide technical support to manufacturing departments Participate in safety and quality audits Continuously learn about new technologies and methods in the manufacturing industry MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field 4+ years' experience in a hands-on Engineering role Proficient understanding of manufacturing systems and processes Track record driving cost savings/efficiency improvements to manufacturing - knowledge of formal LEAN principles is highly desired Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Good understanding of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing industry What's on Offer
