position opening at
Solar Atmospheres
in Souderton, PA. We're a 24/7 operation to ensure our customer's needs are met. This is a role in our medical room, where you'll count and prepare medical device pieces for heat treatment.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 5pm-9pm and every other Saturday 6a- noon.
What you'll do
Our Packer/Set-Up Technicians play a vital role in helping our floor team with the tedious task of organizing and counting pieces to make customer products. Some of our medical device customers need hundreds of pieces (like pacemaker battery covers, knee joints, and other varying-sized pieces) heat-treated, which can take some time to count and set up before they are loaded into the furnace. In this assistant-like role, you'll: Piece count products and fill racks to be heat-treated Follow customer order set-up instructions Assist Furnace Operators in loading/unloading racks, as needed Maintain a clean and orderly work area What you need to thrive in this role
High School Diploma or GED Reliable, organized, and able to focus while completing repetitive tasks Able to lift, bend, reach, and sit/stand for extended periods of time Prior experience in packing, sorting, and/or assembly line work, preferred About us
