Director of Clinical Sourcing - Nursing Hybrid( travel required) Job Summary: The Director of Clinical Sourcing within the Supply Chain Department is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the clinical category of products and services. This includes creating and executing contracting strategies while overseeing a team of Clinical Sourcing Leads, Sourcing Specialists, Contract Analysts, and Project Leads. The position focuses on strategic sourcing, contract management, and vendor relationship development to achieve organizational goals in cost savings and quality improvement.

The role involves managing day-to-day contracting activities such as monitoring contract performance, drafting and negotiating agreements, fostering stakeholder relationships (especially with physicians and nurses), and implementing contracts with end users. Additionally, the Director will present to senior leadership and work to build consensus on product standardization and purchase aggregation.

In collaboration with analytics and value analysis teams, the Director ensures alignment with industry best practices, conducts benchmarking, and identifies initiatives to achieve supply chain excellence. This includes sourcing high-quality products at optimal prices and maintaining a strong focus on service orientation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Development: Develop and execute strategies for clinical product and service contracts. Lead, mentor, and oversee a team responsible for strategic sourcing and contract management.

Strategic Contracting: Oversee contract performance, negotiation, and implementation. Align contracting processes with organizational goals to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical staff. Develop, evaluate, and manage vendor partnerships to support organizational objectives.

Data and Value Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights for benchmarking and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and develop value analysis strategies.

Operational Excellence: Ensure the sourcing process prioritizes quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Align supply chain functions with organizational vision and industry standards.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Applied Science, Nursing, or a related field is required. Master's degree preferred. Experience:

Minimum of 8 years in supply chain or related fields, with experience in managing clinical or laboratory products and services. At least 3 years of leadership experience is required. Skills and Expertise:

Deep understanding of supply chain management, including GPO and local contract sourcing. Proficiency in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management. Experience with cost-benefit analysis, financial feasibility studies, and quality improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of benchmarking, industry best practices, and value analysis.
