Site Safety Manager

The Site Safety Manager ensures compliance with federal, state, and local Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations. Reporting to the Safety Director, this role supports the development, implementation, and auditing of safety policies across job sites while fostering a strong HSE culture. The position involves proactive collaboration with field employees, management, and customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement company safety processes on job sites and manage HSE programs.

• Respond to and oversee injury management, incident investigations, and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with safety laws, standards, and customer procedures.

• Conduct frequent safety inspections, audits, and hazard analyses.

• Provide technical advice, coaching, leadership, and mentorship to field and management personnel.

• Deliver site-level safety training and work to build a proactive safety culture.

• Identify safety trends and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks.

• Maintain safety records and facilitate cultural change to improve overall safety performance.

Position Requirements:

• Certifications: OSHA 510, First Aid, CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, NFPA 70E, LOTO competency.

• Minimum OSHA 10-hour certification within 30 days of starting.

• Background in safety management and incident investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CHST (Certified Health and Safety Technician)

• Minimum 5 years of construction or maintenance experience in safety or operations.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google/Apple applications.

• Experience designing and delivering effective safety training.

• Familiarity with statistical analyses and safety documentation systems.
