Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience and an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance. This role involves leading the design, development, and enhancement of complex software systems, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will function as a technical expert across multiple projects, contributing to strategic planning and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain advanced software applications and systems. Provide development and O&M support for production Java applications with an Oracle backend and Tomcat/JBoss application server during core and non-core working hours as needed to meet mission needs. Lead major software engineering efforts and provide technical direction across multiple projects. Evaluate software performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture. Ensure software solutions meet security, performance, and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials. Plan and lead high-impact technology assignments and initiatives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and developers. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of
8 years of professional software engineering experience and working with JavaScript.
In lieu of experience, relevant certifications or demonstrable project work may be considered. Strong Development experience in:
Java 8 (J2EE), React, Spring Framework 5+, Spring Boot 2 JavaScript/AJAX, Hibernate 5+, SQL/RDBMS (Oracle and PostgreSQL) RESTful Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss Linux (RHEL, CentOS), Eclipse IDE, Maven, Git
Proven expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and best practices. 5 years of experience with AWS (Console, RDS, S3, EBS, AMIs, IaaS) Strong understanding of secure coding practices and system architecture. Experience with:
Database Development and SQL/RDBMS (Oracle and PostgreSQL) UI development using JavaScript application frameworks
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and lead technical teams on complex assignments. Experience with CI/CD tools and automation Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile or DevSecOps environments. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, JavaScript). Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies. Leadership experience in technical project management or team supervision. About E-INFOSOL
