Shop Helper
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to support our team with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our shop. The role involves driving, organizing, and maintaining the cleanliness of our workspace, while also engaging in the overall upkeep of the shop. Responsibilities: Drive a company-provided Ford F-150 to pick up parts from local stores and ensure timely and accurate delivery to the shop. Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the shop floor. Pick up and organize tools efficiently. Clean counters and the front office to maintain a welcoming space. Assist with general shop upkeep as needed. Essential Skills: Valid Driver's License & Clean MVR Ability to safely operate a Ford F-150 for parts pickup. Time Management Efficiently complete errands and shop tasks within scheduled hours. Shop Maintenance Proficiency in sweeping floors, cleaning counters, and organizing tools and supplies. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Customer Service Attitude Maintain a friendly demeanor when representing the company. Basic Office Cleaning Ability to tidy the front office effectively. Team Collaboration Support technicians and coworkers with shop needs. Problem Solving Navigate unexpected issues during errands or shop tasks. Standard hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday (September to May) and 7am-5pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am-12pm on Friday (June to August). Currently, Fridays are not working days. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
