Purpose of Job :
The ERP Analyst III collaborates closely with Project Managers, Development Managers, Technical Architects, Analysts, and Developers to translate business requirements into effective solutions. This role supports the full development lifecycle-ranging from requirements gathering and technical design to unit testing and QA handoffs.
The analyst is responsible for ensuring that business needs are met through efficient use of existing functionality wherever possible. A deep understanding of existing configuration, capabilities, and design best practices is essential.
Additionally, the ERP Analyst is expected to continuously develop expertise in the tools and development methodologies used within the Interstate Batteries environment through both structured training and hands-on project experience.
This role also involves contributing to the analysis and design of scalable information processing solutions, demonstrating initiative and accountability for delivering high-quality results on time. A strong sense of ownership, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are critical to success in this position.
Job Components:
Performs configuration and maintenance systems. Configures and assists developers with the customization of programs to provide solutions to the enterprise. Provides research, support, and data analysis for users in the enterprise. Participates in and leads projects to implement, test and design systems and applications to ensure the system is meeting enterprise needs. Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitors progress for the system. Develops design doc/functional specifications. Qualifications :
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. 4-6 years' experience in SQL, system architecture, requirements gathering, and functional design. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Demonstrates ability to lead medium to large projects. Ability to mentor others on the team. Performs a wide variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 4+ years proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using PL/SQL and SQL in an Oracle environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Project a plus. Work Environment:
Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, and talk and hear Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.
