Position Summary : -
The Technical Innovation Intern will support the Office of the CTO by researching and evaluating emerging technologies that can enhance data center operations. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about innovation and the future of infrastructure technologies.
Responsibilities : - Conduct in-depth research on cutting-edge technologies relevant to data center operations, including: AC Power Air and Liquid Cooling Energy Storage IoT Advanced Materials
Analyze industry reports, academic publications, and market trends to identify innovations applicable to Vertivs product lines. Evaluate technologies from startups, universities, established vendors, and advanced technology providers. Assess the potential impact of emerging technologies on current and future product offerings. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and highlighting integration or development opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and application potential of new technologies.
Qualifications : - Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated work ethic and detail orientation Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality work Collaboration and teamwork
