Quality Engineer

The client is a fast-growing, mid-sized manufacturer specializing in high-quality rectifier and drive transformers up to 69 kV and 50 MVA. The key responsibilities as a Quality Engineer: Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, N299.2, and other relevant quality standards through audits, documentation, and quality system maintenance. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements to address quality issues and enhance manufacturing performance. Develop, maintain, and train teams on quality documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, inspection/test plans, and standard operating procedures. Coordinate and conduct internal and external product audits, including UL, ETL, and Intertek certifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, design, manufacturing) and communicate with clients and vendors to resolve quality concerns and ensure product integrity. What you will bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. 2+ years of quality experience in transformer or related power equipment manufacturing. Knowledge of ISO 9001, N299.2, CSA C88, IEEE C57 standards; IEC experience is a plus. Strong skills in root cause analysis, auditing, AutoCAD/Inventor, and ERP (Epicor preferred). What's on Offer
