The Warehouse Associate is works in our order fulfillment warehouse. In this role, you will utilize your strengths to learn and work on one side of the warehouse: Inbound or Outbound. As a family-owned business specializing in replacement hardware, we strive for our employees to collaborate to benefit the company. In addition to any primary responsibilities, this position includes a flexible work environment that will welcome and encourage input on various projects across departments.
Responsibilities
Inbound: Receive, repackage, and process incoming shipments of new inventory in a timely matter Compare incoming shipments to vendor purchase orders for quality assurance Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received Recognize damaged or defective items and report findings to claims department Determine storage areas for inbound inventory Recommend changes to procedures that may increase productivity Other projects and tasks as assigned by leadership team Embrace, create, and support our growth, strategic goals, and objectives Adhere to all company policies and procedures Outbound:
Safely and efficiently pick, process, pack and ship a high volume of customer orders daily Manages warehouse stock, parts locations, and maintain housekeeping standards Report discrepancies to proper personnel, with the opportunity to recommend changes to procedures that may increase productivity Other projects and tasks as assigned by leadership team Embrace, create, and support our growth, strategic goals, and objectives Adhere to all company policies and procedures Requirements
Requires basic reading and computer skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong desire to learn and apply learned knowledge Ability to read a tape measure Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and climb ladders and stairs. Detailed oriented, organized, and punctual Positive attitude, interpersonal skills, and presents a professional work image Must be capable to work in a team environment and cooperate with supervisors and communicate with other team members
