Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the Analytical Sciences Lab Operations Support team to assist with daily lab functions and ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. This role is essential in maintaining lab readiness through inventory management, media preparation, equipment monitoring, and documentation tracking. You’ll play a key role in supporting cross-functional workflows and maintaining the integrity of controlled lab spaces.
Responsibilied Include:
Maintaining laboratory supplies, reagents inventory, and preparation of media
Safe handling and movement of compressed gases and/or cryogenic liquids.
Cleaning and monitoring of controlled temperature units, fume hoods, and biological safety cabinets (BSC)
Use of electronic management and tracking systems for monitoring and documenting routine maintenance and calibration status of laboratory equipment.
Use of electronic systems to initiate and coordinate workflows between multiple teams/departments
Management of paper lab notebook and logbook requests, updates, and reconciliation
Assists in coordination and execution of reoccurring equipment maintenance and calibrations.
Participates in the overtime and weekend schedule as required.
Cleaning, organization, and labeling of lab spaces in accordance with effective procedures.
Complete all safety and procedural trainings and re-trainings.
Complete tasks listed above in laboratory areas that handle potent chemical compounds.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Associate degree (AS) in Life Sciences or equivalent.
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
A strong work ethic and ability to meet physical demands, but not limited to, routinely lifting objects of 25 lbs.. or more, walking and standing for extended periods, pushing or pulling carts and equipment,t and bending down or reaching for supplies.
Knowledge of cGMP.
Abiltiy to operate in multiple electronic systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Ability to learn new processes, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
