Gentiva Hospice Clear Lake

Gentiva Hospice partners with students on the path to becoming doctors, dentists or other healthcare professionals. The goal is to expand wisdom about dying and death. This includes how to make companionship visits and phone calls with patients and/or their loved ones, learning about bereavement, attending hospice care plan meetings and honoring a self-care practice. Volunteers do not provide physical care for patients. The volunteer has the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced hospice staff. We have no set schedules or shifts.
