Be among the first 25 applicants. The opportunity: You know how to bake security into system architecture and can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. Lead the design and development of secure systems for the US Air Force as a Cybersecurity Lead who can create solutions that withstand advanced cyber threats. As a Cybersecurity Team Lead at Booz Allen, youll interpret technical and mission requirements and lead the delivery of effective technical solutions to cybersecurity challenges on Enterprise government networks. Youll coordinate with government officials, cyber professionals, and technical domain experts to translate IT needs and goals into secure, effective solutions. Youll advise on new techniques, move beyond legacy models, and guide the team through critical network design, providing alternatives and balancing security with mission needs. This is a chance to lead a team to improve security for mission-critical systems. Responsibilities
Interpret technical and mission requirements and lead delivery of cybersecurity solutions on Enterprise government networks. Coordinate with government officials, cyber professionals, and technical domain experts to identify appropriate tools and techniques. Translate customer IT needs and goals into actionable security plans and architectures. Advise on new techniques, break from legacy models, and drive modernization in cybersecurity approaches. Guide the team through network design, offering alternatives and balancing security with mission needs. Oversee efforts to integrate secure practices across Enterprise systems and expand expertise in cybersecurity tools and practices. Identify new opportunities to apply cybersecurity solutions to customers toughest challenges. You Have / Qualifications
5+ years of experience with Enterprise Environments (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based). 4+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture and designing security solution integrations (including SIEM and SOC). 3+ years of experience in Cloud Computing environments such as AWS or Azure. 3+ years of experience leading teams in integrating cyber capabilities in geographically separated enterprise environments. Experience organizing, leading, and executing delivery, including assisting project managers and communicating with executives. Ability to configure, deploy, and implement Elastic on AWS or on premises in an enterprise environment. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelors degree and 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, or 12+ years of cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree. Nice If You Have
Experience with Enterprise Cloud (IL4-IL6) and traditional classified networks (SIPRNet, JWICs). Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Experience with REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and Regular Expressions. Experience with NIST SPs related to RMF, Incident Response, Forensics, and Systems Engineering. Experience with Terraform, AWS, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Strong verbal and written communication, including presentation skills. Secret clearance. Elastic Certifications and relevant DoD 8570 IAT certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GSEC). Clearance
