Sue Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Professional to join our team in the NC location. The role involves performing a variety of tasks associated with Subsurface Utility Engineering and leading the day-to-day operations of the SUE group, including scheduling and coordinating field crew activities and workload priorities, writing proposals, reconciling invoices, and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities
Utilize a wide range of knowledge including test holes, subsurface utility designation, land surveying, and utility engineering. Organize and manage the day-to-day operations of the SUE staff. Review invoices with billing specialists and maintain appropriate billing schedules. Communicate with staff regarding short-term and long-term project goals and accomplishments. Perform formal performance evaluations of department members. Ensure the overall completion of specific projects. Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of SUE experience. Proficiency in land surveying, ALTA, mapping, and use of GPS and Total Station. Strong leadership skills. Experience with NCDOT and the private sector is preferred. Ability to work both independently and in group environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions. Experience as a Party Chief or Crew Chief. Work Environment
The position is based in the NC office, with some travel involved. However, the candidate is expected to be home every night. The role primarily involves working in a field environment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
