We have an exciting opportunity for a Director in our Ratings Advisory team. Primary office locations include Chicago, NYC, Northern New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Remote work options are available depending on candidate qualifications. About Aon Capital Advisory: Aon's Capital Advisory group is a firm-wide joint venture that combines expertise across various Aon disciplines, including Ratings Advisory, Corporate Finance, Analytics, and Reinsurance Solutions. The group aims to provide objective, tailored advice on capital management and optimization for clients. The Ratings Advisory team supports clients with rating agency needs such as capital modeling, profitability analysis, peer benchmarking, and strategic positioning for optimal ratings. What the day will look like This client-facing role involves interacting with internal and external clients, primarily focusing on Rating Advisory. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, applying credit rating agency criteria, analyzing the impact of reinsurance and capital solutions, and developing thought leadership research. Collaboration with other teams like Corporate Finance and ReSolutions is also expected to grow client relationships. The key tasks include: Lead Client Relationships:

Manage account strategies for rating advisory, engaging with reinsurance brokers and clients. Rating Agency Capital Modeling and Analysis:

Provide analytics and advice using rating agency models and financial data. Synthesize Information and Make Recommendations:

Research and analyze financial data, proposing solutions aligned with client goals. Develop Presentations and Recommendations:

Use knowledge of rating methodologies to prepare materials for clients and stakeholders. Industry Research:

Monitor industry trends and translate insights into client recommendations. Special Projects:

Lead initiatives to enhance Aons market presence. Cross-team Collaboration:

Work with other advisory functions like structured reinsurance and capital markets. People Development:

Mentor analysts and review work to ensure quality. Skills and experience required: Minimum

7 years

in insurance or reinsurance, focusing on financial analysis and capital strategy. Ability to

analyze insurance financial statements

supporting credit ratings. Proficiency in

Excel and PowerPoint ; experience with

S&P Global Market Intelligence/SNL or BestLink

is preferred. Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple client projects. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts to executives. Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics ;

CFA or CPA
