Business Development Specialist

We're seeking a tenured Inside Sales Representative to join our growing revenue team. As an ISR, you will be responsible for driving net new business across defined territories or verticals. This is a strategic, high-impact role requiring a deep understanding of the buyer journey, effective collaboration with your assigned Sales Development Representative (SDR), and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles from pipeline generation to close. Key Responsibilities: Drive full-cycle sales processes from demand generation through opportunity management to final close. Prospect and develop new customer relationships through outbound activity and SDR support. Deliver value-based, solution-oriented sales presentations to IT and business leaders (CISO, CIO, IT Director, Compliance). Partner closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure seamless buyer engagement and handoff. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast updates using CRM and sales enablement tools. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota targets. Continuously develop subject matter expertise in cybersecurity services, threat landscape trends, and buyer pain points. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Sales area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Sales area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Sales area Preferred Qualifications: Min. 5 - 8 years of successful quota-carrying experience in direct sales, preferably in enterprise software or cybersecurity. Strong outbound prospecting skills and ability to self-generate pipeline. Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Value Selling, SPIN). Demonstrated ability to manage and close complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and adapting in a fast-moving and high-growth environment. Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Teams.
