Overview
Apogee is recruiting for Program Managers to support a proposal effort on Space Systems Command (SSC) CG. SSC CG is responsible for the planning, acquisition, and sustainment of space-enabled MilComm & PNT capabilities for National/Joint Force Operations. The Directorate acquires an integrated system of satellites, ground segments, and user equipment providing communications and PNT capabilities to aviation, maritime, and ground-mounted and dismounted users and fixed sites. Additionally, the Directorate is responsible for the effective administration, management, and execution of resources for all Programs within its portfolio. This is a full-time role at Los Angeles AFB, Los Angeles, CA. Contingent Upon Contract Award Responsibilities
Projection and PEO level coordination to include, but not limited to, facilitating and/or coordinating PEO level strategic briefings, messages (PA/Media), reports, analysis, and special projects supporting paragraphs Information Management to include, but not limited to, developing, facilitating, updating and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects supporting paragraphs Develop, maintain, and update instructions, implementation guides, charters, and standardized processes in accordance with the latest regulations and directives Retrieve, review, synopsize, and distribute the most current DoD, Air Force, Space Force, and SSC policy, guidance, instructions, processes, procedures, best practices, and information for compliance within the Directorate Support the development, procurement, data collection, usage, modification/enhancement, implementation, integration, testing, documentation, verification, validation, protection, and maintenance of tools, processes, guidelines, methodologies, models, simulations, databases, websites, reports, and applications Review documents for consistency with applicable military, federal, state, local, contractual, commercial, international statutes, regulations, policies, publications, directives, instructions, executive orders, codes, requirements, and/or standards Provide recommendations to the Government on deliverables or services with multiple options Generate, consolidate, and present material, reports, and point papers as required to support meetings Prepare and complete acquisition-related documents and submit recommendations for streamlining and improving all phases of the acquisition process Provide information, analysis, and recommendations for effectively aligning portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding Evaluate acquisition documentation for adherence to policy and guidance, consistency in implementation, and realism in achieving a product suitable for the user within cost, schedule, and performance constraints Analyze program baselines and the associated schedule and recommend executable options for handling changes that impact program performance, schedule, and funding Support the PEO’s strategic planning efforts by providing engineering, technical, architecture, and acquisition support to Government decisions Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony, position papers, and formal reports on the Directorate, organization, missions, operations, and initiatives Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Program Management with related experience Additional Experience: Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff Ability to provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues Ability to consult with client to define needs and problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions Ability to initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs Preferred Qualifications: Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Education:
Master’s Degree Years of Experience:
15+ years of experience to include: 7+ years DoD experience
