The Project Controls Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by assisting the executive leadership and project management team in managing project scheduling, accounting, and documentation. Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Coordinate with PMs to monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts

Project Accounting: Responsible for project billing, accounts receivable and consultant billing. Assist in the development of project proposals with project team Assist in tracking project budgets and financial forecasts Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentation, or a related role within Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and financial management tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment
