What to Expect?
This position reports directly to the Suncoast Chemicals Maintenance Manager. The candidate will work with their maintenance team, production personnel, & other plant leaders to meet plant objectives by performing maintenance & projects tasks. Typical duties will encompass preliminary investigation & trouble shooting, work initiation & organization, customer relation, task/set-up support, training, improvement activities, and work documentation.
On a daily basis our Building Maintenance Technician:
Resolve machine issues on Dry & Liquid Fillers, Tablet Presses, Conveyors, Cappers, Labelers, Infinity Tables, Casers, Glue Systems, Vacuum Systems, Pumps, Particulate Moving Systems, and Other Mechanical Production Equipment. Repair / build hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, & robot powered components. Work metal working machines, soldering, powered tools, & hand tools. Welding experience a plus. Effective use of PLC, HMI, VFD set-up, CMMS (E-Maintenance), & other software. Control experience a plus. Mechanical, Electrical, & Control trouble shooting & repair including identifying & recommending parts for order. Work with associates & suppliers to support maintenance activities & project work. Energetic with ability to perform in a fast-paced industrial environment. Support changes to promote work efficiency & project success which includes reliability & validation concepts. Work safely & champion electrical safety and work professionally. Perform tasks & responsibilities not specifically, as directed. What You Will Need:
High school diploma / GED. Technical associate degree or higher preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience while functioning as a technician with 5 years' preferred.
Exposure to Electrical Systems like Wiring diagrams, PLC functions, Programming, Testing, Calibrations, & Specifications.
Application experience in industrial circuits to 600V including wiring & their control using GMP is preferred.
Demonstrate excellent communication, team skills, flexibility, & is self-motivated.
Solid mix of old & new technologies with a strong desire to learn.
Effective use of plant CMMS (E-Maintenance) & encourage others to employ tool to meet GEP (Good Engineering Practices).
Able to daily plan, is organized, safety minded, & sets high achievable expectations as well as exemplify efficiency, technical grasp, & professional behavior.
