Advanced Systems Design is seeking a
Analytics Developer
for our client located in Montgomery, AL. This position is on-site in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. Job Overview: The SQL Server Developer is responsible for developing applications and integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform, while also providing technical and production support. This role involves business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, requirements gathering, testing, monitoring, and implementing solutions through a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Required Qualifications: 5 years' experience in Analytics & Support
Provide analytics support to Health Systems, Finance, and the Analytics Division. Participate in meetings with project managers, team leads, analysts, and other agency staff.
3 years' experience in Report & ETL Development
Build and maintain ETL packages using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
3 years' experience in Application Development
Lead development and implementation of software related to budgeting, STARRS, and other accounting systems.
8 years' experience in SQL Development
Write accurate SQL code for quality measures with a strong understanding of various databases. Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views. Create scripts to build new database objects and deploy SQL patches.
3 years' experience in Database Management
Assist with schema design, code reviews, and SQL query optimization. Support application schema upgrades and data improvements.
3 years' experience in Power BI Reporting Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred experience in health care, Medicaid, or health insurance
Education Required: Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field. Compensation: $100,259-$110,580 per year
