Job Title : Technology Vendor Management Lead Reporting To : Director, IT Trans Prog Office Work Schedule : Hybrid – Buffalo, NY Location : Buffalo, NY (onsite local) Role and Responsibilities

As the Technology Vendor Management Lead, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring that products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the company’s quality standards. You will collaborate with internal teams, negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and help optimize the company’s technology procurement processes. As the Technology Vendor Management Lead, you will… Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with technology vendors and suppliers; acting as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related issues. Assist contract negotiations with technology vendors to ensure favorable terms, including cost, service levels, and delivery timelines. Continuously monitor vendor performance through KPIs, SLAs, and other performance metrics. Identify areas for improvement and escalate issues as necessary. Work with the technology team and other departments to identify technology needs, source potential vendors, and prepare detailed procurement requirements. Analyze the budget for technology vendor services, ensuring that costs remain within budget and aligned with financial goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Assess and manage risks associated with third-party vendors, including security, compliance, and operational risks. Ensure vendor compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Coordinate the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes. Provide necessary training or resources to internal teams as needed. Maintain detailed records of vendor contracts, negotiations, and performance reviews. Generate regular reports for senior management on vendor performance, issues, and opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technology vendor management. Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the vendor management function. Qualifications

Typically, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Over 3 years of experience in technology vendor management, procurement, or a similar role in a technology environment. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of IT service management, procurement processes, and contract law. Experience with performance management, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship building. Knowledge of technology compliance, risk management, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, etc.). Familiarity with technology systems, software, and hardware procurement; experience with ServiceNow is a plus. Certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, PMP) are a plus. Experience in managing cloud services vendors, software vendors, and IT infrastructure vendors. Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices. Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite; relocation assistance is not provided. Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
