Position Summary Work collaboratively with a skilled care team including providers, benefits specialists, front desk staff, behavioral health consultants, and others to deliver quality health services and resources. Assist providers with onsite procedures. Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and administer medications/vaccines to patients. Respond to patient questions, return calls, schedule appointments, and review medical records to support patient care. Engage in ongoing clinical and technical training, including proficiency with Epic, a leading Electronic Medical Record system.
Requirements
Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program. CPR certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, with skills assessment through in-person training. Minimum of one (1) year of experience or clinical externship. Basic proficiency with EMR systems, with Epic preferred. Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays. Candidates may be required to be vaccinated against communicable diseases and provide documentation or apply for exemptions as part of the application process.
