Bring your certified therapy dog to visit hospice patients in their homes, assisted living, or care facilities Offer gentle companionship, emotional support, and memorable moments to patients and their loved ones Collaborate with our hospice care team to create positive, safe, and impactful visits Help reduce feelings of loneliness and promote relaxation with the unique presence only animals can provide What You’ll Need:

A calm, friendly animal that is certified through a recognized pet therapy program A heart for supporting those in hospice care and a commitment to compassionate volunteering Ability to complete volunteer orientation and health/TB screening (provided by Compassus Hospice) Reliability and sensitivity to patients’ unique needs and circumstances
