Care New England . **Job Summary** The Providence Center is seeking a Residential Assistant for the Men's Roads to Recovery Per Diem program. The role involves performing, coordinating, and monitoring daily non-clinical operations of the program. **Duties and Responsibilities** - Provide orientation of clients into the community. - Conduct facility tours and introductions. - Problem solve and support clients. - Serve as a role model. - Assist in new client admissions, including reviewing rules, issuing linens, assigning bedrooms, and gathering necessary documents. - Perform various services, including checking client performance and assigning housekeeping duties. - Coordinate client appointments with social service agencies. - Conduct toxicology testing, administer breathalyzer tests, and collect urine samples. - Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment. - Monitor client whereabouts during emergencies. - Ensure facility safety and report deficiencies. - Follow medication procedures. - Transport clients when necessary. - Keep records according to policies. - Initiate incident reports as needed. **Requirements** - High school diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred. - Experience with substance abuse population strongly preferred. - At least 4 years in recovery if applicable. - Valid drivers license and insured vehicle required. **Additional Information** Care New England and its affiliates are committed to diversity and equal opportunity employment.
