Overview
As a systems administrator, you know how to build and maintain the infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and take advantage of cloud capabilities and services. This role supports warfighter ISR analyst capabilities and communications systems by developing cloud-based solutions for the Air Force's toughest challenges. You will build, operate, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based capabilities, manage risk, collaborate with your team, and help migrate to cloud standards while improving the customer environment using current cloud technologies. Responsibilities Build, operate, and maintain solutions for on-premises and cloud-based capabilities.
Manage and communicate risk; think strategically, develop plans, and orchestrate execution.
Collaborate with the team to research the current environment and recommend tools and capabilities from on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
Share expertise with teammates as you help the customer overcome challenges in the cloud.
Ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
Identify opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to meet evolving client needs.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in IT system administration
Experience sustaining IT data centers
Experience with Cloud solutions and virtualization
Experience with server hardware installation and configuration
Experience with Windows Server v2019 and up
Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or Perl
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in system administration, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in system administration
Ability to obtain an IAT or IAM II Certification within 60 days of hire date
Nice If You Have
Experience with Dell EMC Isilon storage solutions
Experience in containerization, including Kubernetes
Knowledge of RHEL V7.9 and V8.x and V9.x
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
AWS SysOps Administrator Certification
Windows Server Administrator Certification
Red Hat Certified Administrator Certification
