Responsible for the implementation, service level and life-cycle management of Enterprise Solutions Portfolio of SAP Applications
The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, deployment, support and administration SAP and integrated systems.
Work collaboratively with various application management and project teams.
Good understanding and experience with Operation Systems (Linux, AIX, etc.) and Databases (HANA, MSSQL, DB2, etc.).
At least 2 full-cycle experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as upgrade/migration consultant, or strong evidence of general basis experience.
Experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as technical lead or project manager is a plus.
Perform HANA database upgrades and patches, as required
Hands-on experience with SAP Basis tasks such as designing and implementing landscape and infrastructure, client strategy, capacity planning (sizing), high-availability and disaster-recovery setup, backup and recovery strategy, storage systems, SAP upgrades, OS/DB migration, System refresh & client copies and Basis administration.
Experienced in SAP implementation, upgrades and migrations to Suite on HANA, BW on HANA, and cloud integration, cloud migrations.
Good Knowledge on DB2 database.
High Availability (HA) /Disaster Recovery (DR) technologies including design and implementation of Geographically Dispersed HA/DR
Acts as the highest-level escalation point for the team.
Detailed knowledge of supported SAP operating systems including Linux, Windows and AIX
Expert knowledge of performance tuning at the server, database, and application levels. Expert knowledge in Backup design and support.
Good experience with database design, administration, and maintenance in distributed environment
Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
Desired SAP Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA, HANA, OS/DB Migration.
Strong understanding of various SDLC, Agile methodologies
Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
