The Nurse is responsible for promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for clients in the recovery center. We offer a unique opportunity for nurses to maintain their therapeutic relationships with their patients without the chaos and unsafe staffing ratios that are common in the hospital setting.
T
here are no bedpans, IVs, or bed alarms and all clients perform their own ADLs.
Qualifications:
Current RN or LPN license in good standing in New York.
Experience with documentation and data entry within an EHR
Experience working with alcohol or substance use treatment preferred.
Demonstrated computer proficiency.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to interact with staff and clients in a professional manner.
Ability to assess needs and deliver nursing services to individuals detoxifying from substance use.
