Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees Value |Execution Relationships JOB SUMMARY
Prepares estimates for assigned project(s) of medium size and complexity either directly or through subordinate personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; or 2 years' experience as an electrical estimator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform takeoff and counts of drawings.
Solicitation and review of vendor and subcontractor quotes.
Formulate top sheet.
Collect necessary pre-bid information including discussion of scope or project and schedule with general contractor and competitors competing in bid.
Determine project type and estimating parameters required: labor rate, permit costs, material mark-up and tax adjustments for project location.
Draft estimates on pricing sheets and collect other necessary proposal documents, such as scope letters.
Assist Chief Estimator in final presentation of bid and sending out proposals.
Participate in planning or bid transition meetings as required.
Follow post bid closeout procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
May be required to maintain a valid driver's license depending on project.
