RN Home Health - Winston Salem, NC - Local or Traveler
Protouch Staffing seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide expert, one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the Winston-Salem area. This role focuses on case management, patient education, and utilizing strong clinical skills to help patients recover and manage chronic conditions in a non-hospital setting. This position is open to both local and traveling RNs.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care (e.g., wound care, IVs) to patients in their homes. Perform comprehensive patient assessments (including OASIS). Develop and manage individualized care plans. Administer medications and monitor patient health status. Educate patients and families on self-care and disease management. Document all visits and patient progress accurately in the EHR. Coordinate care with doctors and the interdisciplinary team. Participate in required on-call rotations. Qualifications (Requirements):
Current RN license in North Carolina (or a Compact State). Minimum 1 year of RN experience. Prior experience in Medicare-certified Home Health is strongly preferred. Proficiency in OASIS and Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation. Current BLS/CPR certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
13 weeks FT available, Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week
O n-call info: one day every week and every 3rd weekend (could vary depending on staff) Travel Area: Forsyth County Guaranteed Hours: 0 hours Productivity Units: 30 units Qualifications: HCHB, Oasis, and HH experience required
Skills Homecare Homebase Software Experience - Required OASIS Experience - Required Current state license as a Registered Nurse - Required CHPN certification - Preferred Proof of current CPR certification - Required Current driver's license - Required Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required 1-2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting - Required 2+ years Home health experience - Required.
Education Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program - Required Bachelors of Science in Nursing - Preferred
Compensation Details: Total Non-taxable Pay :$1246 Total Taxable Pay :$1040 Gross Pay :$2286
