Position Summary
Our organization is seeking a
Clinical Supervisor
to support the day-to-day clinical operations of a residential
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) rehabilitation program . This role provides direct oversight of clinical staff, ensures adherence to treatment standards, and supports a structured, patient-centered care environment focused on recovery and long-term stabilization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision to counselors and behavioral health staff Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines Review and approve treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance evaluation Collaborate with leadership on program improvement and patient care strategies Promote a trauma-informed, ethical, and inclusive care environment Assist with crisis management and escalation procedures when needed Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of state and federal compliance standards for addiction treatment Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills Education & Experience
Licensed clinician (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I, or equivalent) in Massachusetts Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in SUD or behavioral health settings
