Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong organizational and problem-solving skills? We're seeking a Production Coordinator with a dynamic personality and the drive to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations.
About the role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager the Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing scheduling, materials management, and inter-departmental communication to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery of high-quality gloves and PPE.
Location:
This position is based out of High Point, North Carolina.
Responsibilities: Assist in developing, monitoring, and adjusting daily/weekly production schedules to meet order commitments. Coordinate workflow between knitting, sewing, coating, packaging, and other production departments. Communicate changes in schedules or priorities to supervisors and team leads. Monitor material availability, including yarn, coatings, and packaging materials, and coordinate with supply chain to prevent shortages. Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods in NetSuite ERP. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to uphold product standards and resolve issues promptly. Generate production status reports and track KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, and on-time delivery. Support process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance information flow. Ensure compliance with safety standards and Superior Glove's operational policies. Other duties as assigned. Travel requirements as needed. Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in business administration, supply chain, operations management, or related field. 2 - 4 years of experience in production coordination, planning, or a similar role in manufacturing (PPE/textiles industry experience an asset). Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred) and MS Office tools. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and data management skills. Valid passport and driver's license with satisfactory driving record; must be willing and able to travel. Why join Superior Glove?
