Position Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and storing materials within the plant to ensure timely delivery of products to internal and external customers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, supporting shipping operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Load and unload materials to and from racks, shelves, and vehicles such as trucks. Transport materials throughout the plant as required to support production and shipping needs. Stack, pile, shrink wrap, and band materials to secure items for safe transport. Store materials according to specifications and production requirements. Receive and track materials using QAD/Eagle system. Create and attach identifying labels, tags, or markings to containers and materials. Follow and promote adherence to all safety policies and plant rules. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations. Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required No prior experience required; previous experience operating a tow motor preferred Valid Ohio Driver's License Tow Motor License (required or obtainable) Essential Skills:

Ability to read and follow basic work instructions Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Comfort working in environments where safety rules are strictly enforced Awareness of safety symbols, signals, and hazard recognition Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling, tracking, and inventory tasks Ability to work closely with a team and communicate effectively Responsiveness in dynamic or unexpected situations Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 35lbs regularly. Frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending. Occasional climbing and reaching overhead. Ability to operate material handling equipment, including tow motors and pallet jacks. Adequate visual acuity and hand-eye coordination for labeling and system data entry. Must be able to work in warehouse/plant environments that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including ear and eye protection as required.
