Manufacturing Engineer Milwaukee, WI | Direct-Hire | $80,000-$110,000 | Fully Onsite

Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to lead the continuous improvement of production methods for custom-engineered electromechanical components. This individual will develop manufacturing processes, optimize assembly workflows, and support cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, safe, and quality-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities: Author, revise, and maintain detailed production work instructions and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure documentation accuracy Create electrical testing protocols and train technicians on proper safety and quality practices Analyze production workflows and implement tooling and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk Investigate and diagnose returned units (RMAs), conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions Manage calibration schedules for all testing equipment and tools to ensure compliance and reliability Support internal initiatives from engineering, operations, and customer requirements as assigned Minimum Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering 3-5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification - Demonstrated experience applying process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput. Experience with ERP/MRP Systems - Proficient in using enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP) to manage production schedules, inventory, and work orders. Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical) Benefits:
