We are seeking a

Director of Sales & Marketing

to lead U.S. market growth initiatives for a confidential defense manufacturer. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic sales execution, building customer relationships, and shaping brand and market strategy. The Director will oversee a national sales and marketing team, partnering cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and executive leadership to align business goals and strengthen the market position.

deep expertise in RF/microwave and defense sectors , proven leadership in building and scaling sales pipelines, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling customer value. Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

Lead regional sales, inside sales, key accounts, and channel partner support. Develop and execute strategic sales plans that achieve revenue and profitability targets. Contribute to executive strategic planning with customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, system integrators, and government customers. Manage forecasts, pipeline health, and performance reporting using CRM tools and analytics. Collaborate with engineering and operations to support quoting, delivery, and execution. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for sales initiatives. Marketing & Business Strategy Direct brand positioning, trade shows, and marketing initiatives. Partner with product line leaders to identify growth opportunities and market priorities. Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales execution and drive business growth. Ensure consistent messaging across all customer touchpoints. Team & Culture Provide mentorship and leadership to the Sales & Marketing team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus. Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or technical graduate degree a plus). 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing, or business development within RF/microwave, defense, or aerospace. Proven success in leading sales organizations and achieving growth targets. Experience managing multiple sales channels (direct, distribution, reps). Knowledge of U.S. defense procurement and government contracting. Strong financial acumen with experience in modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis. Excellent communication, presentation, and executive presence. Proficiency with CRM and marketing tools. Must be a U.S. Person; ability to obtain a security clearance preferred. Willingness to travel up to 25%. Why Join?
