Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation seeks a Grants Manager to support its grantmaking program and other subcontract- related work. Grants Manager will provide support to HF departments with the lifecycle of HF's grants from editing and proofreading to reviewing and monitoring grant recommendations. The manager will also oversee and catalogue files and grant documents which include grant budgets, proposals, and reports. The manager will also ensure that HF is following all its establish policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and regulations.
The successful candidate is a self-starter and must be able to accurately complete a range of administrative tasks necessary for successful and timely grant acquisition, disbursement, and management. This position reports to the Vice President for Grants and Capacity Building and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer.
The position is a hybrid position and will require at least 50% onsite presence in HF's New York City Headquarters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with Programs and Senior Leadership to review and prepare the trackers and reports, and coordinates the preparation of Board Committee materials Conducts analysis of grants data and prepares summary reports for Senior Leadership Works closely with grants department and Senior Leadership to prepare award and payment letters, and ensure timely and accurate grant payments Participates in ongoing efforts to improve and streamline the Federation's grantmaking policies, workflows, and procedures, and guides program staff through policy transitions Liaises with program staff to ensure their initiatives are properly set up in the Blackbaud Grant Management system. Provides program staff with periodic reports on applicant tracking, grantee reporting and deliverables Contributes to continued enhancements to the Federation's grants management system Reviews all incoming grants requests for completeness and accuracy Assists in monitoring grantee performance and timely disbursements Communicate with grantees, as needed Updates grantmaking spreadsheet monthly Date entry, as necessary Participates in special projects as needed, including the annual report Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, with a degree in administration or related subjects strongly preferred A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including the management of financial data and adhering to compliance requirements is an asset. Ability to speak, read and write in English and Spanish is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong financial and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail Must be able to function well in a fast-paced work environment, able to respond to multiple requests for assistance simultaneously Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a flexible and collaborative spirit Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines Enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for serving the Latino community Strong commitment to Hispanic Federation's mission and core values
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 and commensurate with experience. Compensation comes with a robust benefits package with fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(B) retirement plan (including eligibility for a company match), and access to flexible spending and pre-tax commuter benefits. Full- time regular employees are also provided with fifteen (15) vacation days, four (4) personal days, and paid sick time.
