Job Summary:
Provide operations, maintenance, and repair (OM&R) for HVAC/R systems and ICS base-wide. Responsibilities include inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC/R systems such as chillers, air handlers, compressors, chilled water pumps, valve actuators, electronic dampers, sensors, switches, CRAC units, and direct digital controls (DDC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
• Operate a chemical water treatment program for closed-loop HVAC systems.
• Manage a comprehensive Refrigerant Recovery Program in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain and adhere to technical orders and commercial practices for all maintenance actions.
• Provide written reports after inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications.
• Follow a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and USAF requirements.
• Follow a documented and flexible training program.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional work environment.
• Safeguard government and contractor property including facilities, equipment, and tools.
• Accurately report time and complete timesheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required.
• One-year related experience may substitute for one year of education if degree is required.
• Documentation of in-residence training for HVAC/R systems.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification (Core, Type I, II, III) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial chilled water systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC).
• Must have and maintain an active U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and be able to drive manual transmission.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must pass flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge.
• Must pass psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks.
• Must successfully complete online and hands-on CBRN defense training including fit testing of DoD protective gear.
